We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior .NET Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical foundation in both .NET Framework and .NET Core, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. This position requires expertise in C#, VB.NET, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Server Databases, Oracle Databases, and AWS cloud development.

This role is on site at our headquarters in Wichita, KS and offers a hybrid schedule, providing you with flexibility and work/life balance.

What You Will Do
* Technical Leadership: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex applications using .NET Framework and .NET Core. Set coding standards and best practices.
* Advanced Coding and Software Architecture: Develop high-performance, scalable, and secure applications using advanced coding techniques, ensuring good architecture design and effective use of design patterns.
* Code Quality and Security: Ensure clean, secure, and scalable code. Conduct code reviews and implement adequate security measures.
* Database Architecture: Design and develop advanced database solutions using SQL and PL/SQL, optimizing for performance and reliability.
* Testing and Reliability: Architect and implement comprehensive unit and integration test strategies to ensure code robustness and reliability using frameworks like xUnit or NUnit.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features, providing technical leadership and ensuring alignment with business goals.
* Innovation and Improvement: Drive innovation by recommending and integrating new technologies and methodologies to enhance software development practices.
* Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team.
* CI/CD Processes: Lead efforts to maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and high-quality software delivery.
* Cloud Integration: Drive cloud development initiatives, particularly in AWS, and integrate cloud technologies such as API Gateway, Lambda, and RDS into solutions.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C#, or .NET Core
* Extensive experience with complex C# coding, including advanced techniques and design patterns
* Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Databases
* Experience with CI/CD processes and tools
* Proven ability to solve problems efficiently with strong attention to detail, ensuring the delivery of high-quality code
* Experience collaborating and communicating effectively, as well as mentoring and influencing team members

What Will Put You Ahead
* Extensive experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, including technologies like API Gateway, CloudFront, Lambda, DynamoDB, and RDS
* Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit, and a commitment to test-driven development
* Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript within a Node.js runtime, enhancing frontend-backend integration
* Demonstrated success in adopting and implementing new technologies and best practices to drive project success and team efficiency
