Job Overview
Seeking Graduate students. This Intern position can be seated at any of the following locations: St. Louis, MO; Solon, OH; Avon, CT. Qualified candidates residing near any of these cities are encouraged to apply. The Hubbell Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell. The Hubbell Engineering R&D team is seeking a graduate intern to perform numerical experiments for evaluating and refining cutting-edge approaches in information quantification and compression in high-dimensional spaces. Ideal candidates have deep understanding of concepts in probability, signal processing, and information theory, are comfortable with numerical/scientific computing in Python, and are generally strong in applied mathematics for information theory and compression.
