Job Summary

Manage training development and process documentation strategy across Dorman Light Duty Distribution Centers.

Primary Duties

  • Create training curriculums for four sites (Colmar, PA, Louisiana, MO, Portland, TN, and Warsaw, KY) to facilitate improved customer quality.
  • Identify future training needs and research new training methods, processes, and materials to enhance Contributor knowledge.
  • Develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks using current and future Process Documentation aids.
  • Design and manage internal document control systems for process accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain a compliance and performance tracking system for four Light Duty Distribution Centers and the contributors assigned to each site.
  • Partner with o site leadership on training development and process documentation strategy.
  • With a focus on continuous improvement, analyze existing systems and identify areas of opportunity through various data collection processes.
  • Ensure process changes are documented and contributors are current in all new process and process changes.
  • Ensure contributors are trained in proper operation of equipment.
  • Perform System audits to ensure compliance to established procedures.

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred; or HS Diploma with adequate related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with modern and traditional training methods
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills
  • Enhanced database and computer skills
  • Strong Verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Good collaboration and teambuilding skills.
  • Previous supervisory skills and experience required.
  • Knowledge of competency-based training assessment tools
  • Travel Time: Up to 25%
