GENERAL PURPOSE

The MillerKnoll Technology team is building a customer-centric, digitally enabled business model to reshape the way our family of brands does business. We're creating frictionless customer experiences through digital solutions across our platforms, and we need a Digital Product Manager focused on product data and integrations to help us get there.

As a Digital Product Manager, you will assist in creating, developing, and executing MillerKnoll digital strategy across multiple digital products. We are looking for a strategic thinker and collaborator, with a strong understanding of data architecture and middleware technologies to lead the development and enhancement of our mid-tier services. You will use your experience delivering features and products that simplify user experiences and streamline workflows to create a digital product tailored to the needs of our internal enterprise users. You will be a key factor in enabling the growth of our product data platforms and supporting world class customer experiences.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Acts as the champion of the user's needs.

  • Collaborates with product and engineering teams on both internal and external bugs and feature improvements.

  • Defines product features and requirements and leads the implementation of new digital products and/or digital product updates.

  • Ensures that all necessary user acceptance, performance, and postproduction testing is conducted and documented according to MillerKnoll testing guidelines.

  • Fosters a culture of customer-centered design throughout the organization.

  • Identifies opportunities and trends from the digital marketplace, analyzing relevant vendors and keeping an eye toward our competitive landscape.

  • Manages vendor and stakeholder relationships.

  • Researches and maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and how they may optimize current business practices.

  • Utilizes analytics and customer research to measure product effectiveness and to direct future product development.

  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 3-5 years of experience in product or delivery management, preferably within digital.

Skills and Abilities

  • A passion for and understanding of digital products and marketplaces.

  • Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of web analytics.

  • Experience in requirements analysis and definition.

  • A deep understanding of the contemporary digital ecosystem.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence decision making and creative concepts.

  • A history of delivering consistent results with a high attention to detail.

  • The ability to use the office automation, communication, software, and tools in the Herman Miller office environment.

  • The ability to perform all essential job functions of the position with or without accommodations.

A starting compensation range for this role is $77,950.00 - $97,925.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
