About the Role:

As a Tax Manager, you will work on a variety of taxes- income tax, sales tax, use tax, property tax, franchise tax, and federal excise tax. Activities include, but are not limited to, federal and state income tax compliance, assistance with federal and income tax state audits, assistance with the financial reporting of quarterly and annual taxes, review of sales tax, use tax, property tax, and federal excise tax. This position requires interactions with Manufacturing, Finance, R&D, Legal, etc.

Your Responsibilities:



  • Income tax compliance (Federal, State, and Local)
  • Accounting for income taxes for quarters and yearend for SEC reporting purposes
  • Research for applicable tax laws for tax types noted above
  • Assist with mergers & acquisition activity as well as divestitures
  • Federal and State tax audits including income, sales/use, property, and excise
  • Review of indirect compliance
  • Maintenance of general processes and procedures
  • Working with outside vendors for various projects
  • Other duties as assigned


Let's Talk About Your Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred Major: Accounting or Finance)
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in income tax preparation, tax research, and accounting for income taxes (ASC740) with a public corporation or accounting firm


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint


  • Familiarity with SAP or equivalent ERP system, OneSource Income Tax (OIT) or equivalent package, Tax Reporting Cloud System (TRCS) or equivalent package, and SOVOS or equivalent package


  • CPA or Law Degree (Active License)
