Daikin Applied is seeking a Human Resources Manager to administer policies relating to all phases of Human Resources activities.

Location: In office, Staunton, VA.

What you will do:



  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are complying
  • Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions
  • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals
  • Administers Human Resources transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations
  • Tracks employee statistics for government reporting
  • Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment
  • Provides recommendations regarding resolution of employee relations issues
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
  • Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization
  • Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization
  • Maintains Affirmative Action Plan and ensures compliance with OFCCP regulations
  • Conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations


Qualifications:



  • 4-year bachelor's degree
  • 5 years related experience and/or training
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,400-$126,500 in VA. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
