Child Development Center

Job Description

This position involves providing individualized, personal care and group supervision to all children while maintaining policies and regulations of group childcare.

Characteristic Duties

  • Assist in providing well rounded daily activities for children's overall development and mental health
  • Maintain schedule and consistent routine while offering developmentally age-appropriate activities and learning opportunities
  • Follow policies and childcare regulations including safety, fire and emergency procedures, sanitation regulations, as well as Food Handling and Food Service Certification
  • May communicate with parents regarding children daily care; Report all reoccurring problems with staff or families to designated supervisor
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly classroom and facility

All staff must attend a minimum of 12 clock hours of training each year.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to successfully pass a Child Abuse/Neglect screening.
  • Successful completion of an initial physical, including TB screening.
  • Must be highly organized, task-oriented, and able to positively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $12.30 hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
