Supervision of a clinical group in the hospital, assist with grading journals and skills check-offs, and provide feedback to students to improve their clinical practice.

90% instructing students in clinical
10% reviewing student reflections and journals
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position
Understanding of the nursing process, Able to direct students in application of theoretical concepts to clinical environment, Oversee medication administration and incorporate 5 rights of medication administration, Manage multiple priorities in the clinical environment
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Minimum nursing experience 2 years, Agrees to participate in Clinical instructor Program in next year OR currently working towards a masters degree in nursing
Preferred Qualifications
Nursing experience 5 years, prior experience teaching nursing students
