Lecturer, IT and Analytics

The Department of Business Management in the Poole College of Management is home to faculty in the areas of marketing, finance, operations & supply chain management, information technology and analytics.

Faculty members work closely with our centers and initiatives, which include the Consumer Innovation Collaborative and the Supply Chain Resource Cooperative. At both the undergraduate and MBA level, there is an emphasis on data analytics in the curriculum through coursework and practicum.

The Department of Business Management is accepting applications for the position of Non-Tenure Track Faculty Lecturer (part-time) in the Information Technology and Analytics area. Non-Tenure Track Faculty positions are one-semester or one-year, with the possibility of renewal. Applications will remain on file for one year should openings arise in subsequent semesters.

Successful candidates will teach one or more Information Technology and/or Analytics courses for the BSBA (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) and/or MBA (Masters of Business Administration). Teaching locations include our main campus in Raleigh, our RTP MBA campus, online, and the potential for summer school and study abroad courses.

Specific hiring needs for the academic year have yet to be determined but IT courses could include information systems management, database management, systems development, networking, or systems analysis and design. Analytics courses could include business analytics or data engineering.
