JOB PURPOSE: The Clinician uses sound professional judgment and best practices to support the mental health, safety and well-being of every resident in care while maintaining compliance with established state and federal standards and requirements. Conducts mental health assessments and provides ongoing individual and group counseling services, screens for human trafficking concerns, and provides crisis intervention services. Qualifications
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Must have a Master's of Social Work with clinical experience in the program; or Master's degree in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which direct clinical experience is a program requirement; or a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years clinical employment experience. EXPERIENCE: Clinician must be licensed LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LPC-I, LMFT-A, or LMSW or eligible for licensure. 2+ year clinical related experience and/or training including experience working in crisis intervention. Proficiency in Spanish/English (written and spoken language skills), required. Preferred experience in working with immigrant populations, and child welfare. CERTIFICATIONS: Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) Core Curriculum Courses. IS-100.C: Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS 100 IS-0200.c Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response, ICS 200 IS-700.B: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System IS-800.D: National Response Framework, An Introduction ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion. LICENSES: Driver's License with a clear record. VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice. OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.
