Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Wage: $75,000-$83,000/year Shift: 2nd, 3rd Hours: 2:45pm-11:15pm, 10:45pm-7:15am QPS Employment Group is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a company in Pleasant Prairie, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity on 2nd or 3rd shift. Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform preventive maintenance on all process, packaging, and building equipment - Troubleshoot and perform mechanical and electrical repairs on production equipment - Assist with installation of new production and facility equipment - Identify and address safety and quality issues as discovered - Work effectively as part of a team Maintenance Mechanic Requirements: - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; technical college degree preferred - Minimum of 5 years as a maintenance mechanic - Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge - Ability to set up and operate shop equipment and portable power tools - Experience with packaging equipment - Ability to weld, machine, and fabricate - Experience with high-speed rotary liquid fillers, labelers, and conveyors - Experience rebuilding diaphragm pumps, centrifugal pumps, progressive cavity pumps, Westlock control valves, and gearboxes - Plumbing and piping skills - PLC/controls experience - Experience working with Krones filling/packaging equipment is a plus - Ability to read electrical and mechanical prints and schematics - Basic knowledge of programmable logic controllers, circuit boards, VFD drives, control circuitry, level sensors, flow sensors, pressure sensors, pumps, seals, bearings, solenoids, motors, motor starters, relays, etc. Benefits: Medical insurance, Dental and vision insurance, Short-term disability, 401(k) with company match, Life insurance, Voluntary life and AD&D, Paid time off IND999 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
