WHY WOLF CREEK
Wolf Creek is looking for RP technicians who want more than another outage. This is a permanent, IBEW Local 304 bargaining unit position with union-negotiated wages and yearly increases, great insurance, a 401(k) with a company match plus a company-funded Cash Balance pension, and a strong training department dedicated to helping you advance to Senior RP Technician.
Our focus is simple: run the plant well. We are a risk-informed organization that is committed to continuous improvement, and we expect every technician to help us find ways to do the work safer and better. As a single-unit station in a small town, and not part of a large fleet, we solve problems here, together. RP works side by side with Operations, Maintenance, Chemistry, and Engineering every day, and that creates a higher level of cross-functional teamwork. If you are an experienced ANSI 3.1 tech, especially one who has already completed initial RP training at another utility, we want to talk to you.

CAREER GROWTH AND PROGRESSION
* Intermediate RP Technicians progress to Senior RP Technician after 12 months with RP Shift Technician qualification. Progression can happen in less than 12 months with shift technician qualification and management discretion.
* Experience and qualifications completed at other utilities (including PADS-documented RPT/RP tasks) may be credited toward Wolf Creek qualifications, getting you to shift tech faster.
* Opportunities for upgrades into Master and leadership roles, plus temporary assignments such as shared resources with other utilities and Dry Cask Storage campaign support.

* 401(k): Automatic enrollment at 6% with a company match of 75% on the first 6% you contribute. You are 100% vested immediately in your contributions and the company match.
* Cash Balance Pension: In addition to the 401(k), the company funds a Cash Balance retirement account. Pay credits range from 4% to 12% of eligible pay based on age, plus 4% annual interest credits. Participation begins after one year and 1,000 hours, with vesting after three years.
