About the Role

We are seeking a driven and analytical Supply Chain Professional to manage end-to-end supply chain planning, procurement coordination, and inventory execution for automotive replacement batteries and related components within Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA).

In this role, you will act as a pivotal operational link across suppliers, logistics, engineering, warehousing, and commercial leadership. Your primary mission is to protect product availability, mitigate backorder risks, and resolve critical supply bottlenecks to ensure high-standard fulfillment for automotive dealers, field requirements, and end customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Supply Execution: Ensure replacement batteries and associated products are delivered to the right location at the right time to satisfy customer demand and critical business metrics.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Coordinate cross-departmentally across supply planning, procurement, supplier schedules, logistics, warehousing, quality, engineering, and finance.
  • Risk & Inventory Monitoring: Track and evaluate daily and weekly CCA supply performance, focusing on unit availability, SPAC, backorders, past-due shipments, inventory levels, supplier capacity, and premium-freight exposure.
  • Supplier Management & Issue Resolution: Drive root-cause analyses (RCA), establish recovery plans, track supplier commitments, and escalate supplier risks until resolved.
  • Data Tracking & Executive Updates: Maintain accurate forecasts, reporting dashboards, and action trackers to guide bridge-buy decisions, resourcing projects, and long-term supply strategies.

Daily Workflow & Environment

  • Daily Rhythm: Review CCA and supplier performance dashboards, track drive-unit and battery availability, resolve operational bottlenecks, and coordinate with cross-functional partners.
  • Collaboration Level: High-touch, daily interaction with internal supply chain partners and external tier suppliers.
  • Workplace: Modern, collaborative open-floor office environment in Warren, MI.

Qualifications & Key Competencies

  • Background: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Domain Knowledge: Functional experience in automotive supply chain, aftermarket operations, inventory management, or battery/component planning.
  • Analytical Problem Solver: Proven ability to manage large datasets, monitor KPI dashboards, identify bottleneck trends, and operate effectively even with ambiguous or incomplete data.
  • Supplier Engagement: Demonstrated experience holding vendors accountable to schedules, recovery milestones, and quality deliverables.
  • Communication Skills: Strong cross-functional leadership, urgency, and clear communication when presenting risk mitigation updates to leadership.
