You will conduct visible routine patrols, respond to security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors to help deter potential concerns. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government law-enforcement location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; document incidents, observations, and completed patrol activity accurately.
• Carry and maintain authorized duty equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policy, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess a college degree.
• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
