Job Description

Summary

Continually improve the Maintenance Process and reduce costs, while complying with all government regulations, applicable codes and standards, including electrical infrastructure, controls, and new designs

Essential Functions

Lead the development, implementation, and upgrade of the preventive maintenance program for all electrical equipment

Lead in the development, implementation, and upgrade of electrical Infrastructure, including high/ mid and voltage switch gears and breakers,

Lead in the development, implementation, and upgrade of TIMET's lockout/ Tagout (LOTO) procedures and programs including the high, mid and low voltage.

Integration of the process LOTO with electrical LOTO

Training and peer review of the LOTO

Inputting the LOTO into the TIMET LOTO software

Assure plant-wide compliance with TIMET's Mechanical/ Electrical Integrity Program.

Maintain associated files and provide monthly reports on activities

Maintain maintenance cost figures and provide monthly cost avoidance reports

Develop and maintain a list of "target" equipment with excessive maintenance costs

Determine the root cause and develop a plan to abate the problem. Monitor and report progress monthly

Support TIMET's Computerized Maintenance Management System. Provide management reports as required

Train TIMET's maintenance personnel in special maintenance procedures

Lead improvement projects from start to completion

Be able to supervise employees as required

Involvement with the RCM program

Additional Responsibilities

1-Maintenance monthly reports,

KPI reporting, developing new PMs , and PDMs

Utilizing the SAP (CMMS) .

Facilitating RCM projects

Thermo imaging

Writing new PMs for new equipment

Trouble shooting electrical systems

Reporting maintenance costs

Keeping instrumentation calibration records , and repotting

Maintaining the CMMS up to date.

Daily maintenance metrics reporting

Qualifications

Education and Experience

BS - Electrical Engineering or AS - Electrical Engineering with 6 to 10 years' experience.

10+ years of progressive experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer preferred

Special Skills

Proficient with computer skills

Good communication skills both verbal and written

Be able to fill in as Maintenance Manager when required

Be a team player

Full knowledge of high Voltage, Motor controls

Full knowledge of PLC programming

Full knowledge of Auto cad

Full knowledge of electrical schematic

Full knowledge of high power rectifiers

Full knowledge of DC, And AC circuits, and variable speed drives

Additional Notes

Good working knowledge of Manufacturing Codes and Standards including ASME, ASTM, ANSI, etc.
