Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong math skills required, including fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, and basic calculations.
  • Ability to accurately read and follow formulas, batch sheets, labels, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).


Experience Requirements



  • Previous manufacturing, production, batching, blending, food and beverage production, or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Experience weighing, measuring, staging, or handling raw materials is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain accurate production records and batch documentation.
  • Experience operating scales, mixers, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other production equipment preferred.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Excellent attention to detail and strong quality focus.
  • Ability to accurately calculate ingredient quantities and verify batch specifications.
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies, quality issues, and incorrect measurements before materials enter production.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and production efficiency.


Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequently bend, reach, lift, carry, and move materials.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, varying temperatures, and required PPE.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling and production equipment.


Job Duties



  • Accurately weigh, measure, and prepare raw materials, ingredients, and additives according to formulas and production specifications.
  • Calculate and verify weights, percentages, ratios, and quantities for production batches.
  • Stage materials and prepare ingredients for blending and production runs.
  • Operate scales, mixers, blending equipment, and other manufacturing equipment as trained.
  • Verify ingredient identification, lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates before use.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure materials and blends meet company specifications.
  • Maintain accurate batch records, production documentation, and material traceability.
  • Report quality concerns, damaged materials, variances, and incorrect measurements promptly.
  • Communicate with Production, Quality, and Warehouse teams to support production schedules and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
