Material Handler

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and follow product instructions, formulas, work orders, and production documentation.
• Basic math and recordkeeping skills required.

Experience Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, material handling, resin blending, or injection molding experience preferred.
• Experience working with raw materials, inventory management, and production support activities.
• Ability to accurately document material usage, inventory transactions, and production data.
• Forklift or material handling equipment experience is a plus.
• Must be able to cross train with a line operator.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow formulas and specifications accurately.
• Knowledge of resin handling, color concentrate blending, and injection molding processes preferred.
• Ability to maintain inventory accuracy and production material flow.
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently move raw materials, totes, bins, and production supplies.
• Ability to perform repetitive material handling and housekeeping activities.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and production equipment.

Job Duties

• Blend color concentrates and resins according to established formulas and product specifications.
• Maintain an organized inventory of resin concentrates, raw materials, and production equipment.
• Supply raw materials to injection molding machines to support continuous production operations.
• Remove finished products from machines, assign Kanban tags, and complete required production documentation.
• Replenish stockers with empty tote boxes, liners, bags, and other production supplies.
• Fill raw material bins, track material usage, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Monitor bowl feeders, grinders, stockers, and related equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Dispose of rejected products and remove waste materials from production areas.
• Clean and organize manufacturing floors, warehouse areas, and workstations.
• Follow ISO quality standards, environmental procedures, OSHA regulations, and all company safety policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while supporting production goals and quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision or management.
