Looking for Rebar Warehouse Associate jobs in Lexington where every day keeps products moving? This opportunity lets you support warehouse operations through picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling while helping ensure orders are completed safely and accurately.

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Rebar Warehouse Worker. This position involves handling, and organizing, rebar materials in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. Will strap and unload trucks, strapping rebar bundles securely that are loaded onto a truck

Job Duties



  • Load and Unload Trucks: Operate an overhead crane to load and unload rebar materials onto and off trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Material Handling: Bundle, organize, and strap rebar materials securely for storage or transport.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery and handling materials to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manual Labor: Perform physical tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and organized, performing routine maintenance or reporting any equipment issues as needed.
  • Environmental Awareness: Adapt to working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment, including exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.



Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.
  • Lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • This position is based in a warehouse setting with exposure to fluctuating temperatures, dust, and heavy materials.
  • The role requires physical exertion and adherence to strict safety measures at all times.



Experience Requirements



  • Ability to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation.
  • Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Rebar Warehouse Associate.
  • Experience operating overhead cranes is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with strapping and bundling materials securely.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety protocols.
  • Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.



Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
