Due to promotion, we are seeking a Customer Development Analyst to join our team at Kemps Home Office in St. Louis Park, MN. In this role you will provide analytical support to the customer development and sales team by creating and completing business reviews, scorecards, and category reports as needed. Provide space management support including plan-o-grams for new items and seasonal sales initiatives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Support creation of retail sell sheets to aid in execution of sales initiatives and new item launches
  • Update business reviews and monthly volume scorecards for key accounts utilizing internal data warehouses
  • Support development of customer-facing insights, selling stories, and business recommendations utilizing syndicated, shopper, and internal data sources
  • Support syndicated database management through new item placement and on-going data validation
  • Collaborate with team members to develop consistent and sustainable reporting templates
  • Support retail merchandising and space planning initiatives as needed
  • Analyze business performance and identify opportunities, risks, and trends to support customer and category growth strategies
  • Develop clear, concise reporting and presentations that communicate business insights to internal and external stakeholders


  • Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or related curriculum (or equivalent combination of experience and education).
  • 2 to 5 years of sales or business analysis, market research, or related experience.
  • Experience working with syndicated market data sources such as Circana (IRI) or NielsenIQ is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, for a diverse range of internal and external audiences.
  • Experienced in building consensus with a variety of departments around key initiatives.
  • Work with the ability to provide quality deliverables on time.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, with the ability to analyze operational data, prepare reports and presentations, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.
