Overview
Infusion RN - Temp Willamette Valley Cancer Institute and Research Center (WVCI), one of Oregon's leading providers of cancer care, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Infusion team in Corvallis. In this role, you will provide direct patient care to individuals receiving infusion therapies in a fast-paced oncology setting. Successful candidates will have strong IV therapy skills, excellent clinical judgment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Oncology experience is strongly preferred. Qualifications
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires prolonged standing and sitting, frequent use of hands and fine motor skills, and ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds independently and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance or mechanical equipment. Employees must be able to effectively communicate with patients and staff and work safely in an environment that may involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens, hazardous medications, and chemotherapeutic agents. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position is based in an oncology clinic environment and may involve exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous substances, medical preparations, and ionizing radiation.
