This position is 32 hours per week on a rotating schedule. The location is South Market, Lakewood Ranch/Sarasota Area. 2-3 nights of call a month. Weekend rounding about every 6 weeks at the Main Hospital. Train at the main hospital in St Pete for 4-6 months.

APRNs and PAs are board-certified providers that assume responsibility and accountability for health stabilization, promotion, and maintenance of acute and chronic illness or injury. APRNs and PAs contributes to the goals of the department by being accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida Board of Nursing and JHACH policy. APRNs and PAs assume responsibility and accountability for health stabilization, promotion, and maintenance of acute and chronic illness or injury under the supervision of a physician. Through collaborative practice with all members of the care team, this role is responsible for patient outcomes that meet the high quality of care provided by JHACH.

Qualifications:

  • Current Florida State Licensure as PNP-PC, PNP-AC or a PA.
  • Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP for PNP-PC or ACPNP, or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
  • Current BLS and PALS.
    Current National Certification as a: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care or PNP-PC, or PA.
  • Preferred candidate will have pediatric and GI experience.

Salary Range: Minimum $51.03/hour - Maximum $79.10/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
