Job Duties

• Operate forklifts to move, stage, and supply product for packing. Retrieve product from rack locations and deliver to designated staging and packing areas.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and locations during movement; report discrepancies or issues to the Supervisor immediately.
• Keep products separated, organized, and in proper rotation.
• Perform routine preshift forklift inspections and report equipment or safety issues immediately.
• Follow all forklift safety rules and traffic patterns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Use a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities to improve material flow and efficiency.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or material handling training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience moving, organizing, loading, or unloading materials in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to accurately identify products, labels, inventory locations, and shipping documentation.
• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as required.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and dependable work habits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems is beneficial.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures, warehouse documentation, or Lean warehouse practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and safe work habits are well positioned for success as a Material Handler.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive material handling tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely move products using manual or powered material handling equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in warehouse or manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures.
