  • Identify opportunities to grow market share, strengthen key account relationships, and maximize revenue across rooms, food and beverage, and meeting space.
  • Stay actively engaged with market conditions, competitive activity, demand generators, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Build relationships with key clients, business partners, community organizations, and regional stakeholders.

Guest Experience & Operational Excellence

  • Create a culture centered on hospitality, accountability, operational discipline, and consistently exceptional service.
  • Maintain a highly visible presence throughout the hotel, regularly engaging with guests, associates, and leaders.
  • Ensure the property consistently meets or exceeds Marriott brand standards and Crescent expectations for quality, cleanliness, service, and operational performance.
  • Champion continuous improvement and identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience, improve efficiencies, and strengthen the hotel's competitive position.
  • Ensure strong execution across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and all supporting disciplines.

People & Culture

  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a talented executive and departmental leadership team.
  • Create an environment where associates feel valued, supported, challenged, and empowered to perform at their best.
  • Establish clear expectations and accountability while fostering collaboration and communication across departments.
  • Develop leaders at every level and build a strong internal talent pipeline through coaching, development, and succession planning.
  • Partner with People & Culture leadership to support associate relations, performance management, engagement, development, and retention.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Hotel General Manager, preferably within a complex, full-service hotel environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading a full-service hotel with significant rooms, food and beverage, group, and meeting/event operations.
  • Strong track record of delivering financial performance, guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and operational results.
  • Deep understanding of hotel financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, revenue strategy, labor management, and cost controls.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to partner effectively with Sales and Revenue Management to drive topline performance and market share.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing leadership teams.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent communication, relationship-building, and decision-making skills.
