Description

The Third Party Lending Oversight Specialist supports the oversight and administration of third-party lending credit management activities. This role facilitates audits, reviews, and reporting; coordinates issue resolution with lending partners and internal stakeholders; and supports the monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement of third-party credit processes to ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and service standards.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the administration and monitoring of third-party lending credit management activities, including partner performance tracking, documentation, and reporting.
  • Facilitate internal, external, and regulatory audits and reviews related to third-party lending; compile required documentation and coordinate responses with business owners and lending partners.
  • Coordinate the response and resolution of third-party lending findings, escalations, and member complaints in partnership with appropriate internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Assist with the implementation of process, procedural, and system changes associated with third-party lending programs and partner requirements.
  • Support the validation and administration of rate, pricing, disclosure, and program changes for third-party lending products, ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment.
  • Monitor third-party lending partner activities for adherence to contractual terms, service-level expectations, and operational standards; escalate exceptions as needed.
  • Prepare quarterly and ad hoc reports on trends, partner performance, and operational metrics, and recommend process improvements to leadership.
  • Partner with internal Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to support issue resolution, remediation, and regulatory adherence within third-party lending.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, procedures, and records supporting third-party credit management processes and audit readiness.
  • Coordinate business requirements, testing, and change management activities associated with third-party lending system enhancements and new initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, status updates, and reporting for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders as required.
  • Serve as a liaison between third-party lending partners and internal teams to support alignment, issue resolution, and effective service delivery.

Essential Skills:

  • Required Experience: 4 years' experience in financial services, including 2 years in consumer lending, credit management, vendor/partner support, compliance, or project management.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating third-party, vendor, or partner relationships preferred.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple business units, leadership, external partners, and vendors.
  • Ability to support projects, process improvements, and change management concepts in a dynamic and complex operating environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to leverage data, metrics, and reporting to identify trends and support recommendations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Strong editing, proofreading, and documentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of consumer lending regulatory requirements, including Fair Lending, SCRA, Truth in Lending, Reg B, FCRA, MLA, Reg E, and Reg Z.
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills

Target Compensation: $66,500 to $79,500 annually + annual bonus
