Job title: Senior Account Executive
Duration: 15 Months Possibility of Conversion Location: Remote Job Description: This candidate will be responsible for onboarding and ongoing support of clients within Operations such as Issuers, Issuer Processors, Program Managers and PIN Debit Networks. The Issuer Operations Team Senior Account Executive manages the onboarding of their assigned clients, drives ongoing compliance to Discover Network rules, regulations, applicable agreements, and program documents. Account Executives also provide day-to-day support of their clients through research, response, compliance monitoring, risk mitigation and escalation while also working in collaboration with our Discover Network and PULSE sales teams on new programs. This candidate will function as a primary operations contact to their clients and trusted advisor regarding operational challenges impacting Discover acceptance by working with partners, as well as internal business stakeholders, on the identification, investigation and resolution of acceptance and transaction processing issues as well as working to quickly address and resolve partner concerns/challenges. Additionally, this candidate will work to ensure that our program documentation and technical specification requirements are fully understood and followed to increase and maintain Discover acceptance and help our partners better realize their business goals. Responsibilities Seeks opportunities for improvement within the department. Supports department-level analytics and reporting tasks. Supports local teams to expand services and acceptance footprints. Boards new partners on to network. Provides day-to-day support for issuers, issuer processors, network-to-network partners and program managers by researching complex situations and supporting the participants on all aspects of operations, and managing participant operational relationships. Supports participants through the release process by managing and coordinating certification, ensures the participants are in compliance with operating rules and regulations, and engages the participants to support key initiatives. Minimum Qualifications At a minimum, here's what we need from you: H.S. Diploma or GED 2+ years experience with Payments, financial services, or related In lieu of education, 4+ years experience with Payments, financial services, or related Preferred Qualifications If we had our say, we'd also look for: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, Finance, Engineering or related Experience with electronic payments in the merchant processing card industry Experience working with Acquirers, Issuers, Processors and Gateways Experience using Salesforce.com, Teradata, SQL, Snowflake, Tableau and Blueworks Experience troubleshooting, researching and resolving transaction technical issues Excellent internal and external client communication and management skills Strong aptitude for planning, presenting and organization Ability to understand obligations outlined in program, contract and technical requirement documents Strong PC competency including Google Workspace, building Google Sites, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Forms Advanced SmartSheet application development and support experience is a plus!
