As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Administration in La Crescenta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an educational location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Use clear communication and technology to document activities while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or families by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, noting and reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying visitor authorization, and directing guests in accordance with school site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
