The Highlights:

The Part-Time Digital Minister for Vincentian Formation develops, curates, and shares digital resources that support Vincentian formation for students, faculty, staff, and administrators. Working under the guidance of the Associate Director for Vincentian Formation and in collaboration with DMM staff, student employees, and campus partners, this position identifies formation needs and in response creates engaging resources in a variety of formats, including written content, videos, podcasts, websites, and social media. The position also coaches student employees and partners involved in digital resource development. Through this work, the Digital Minister serves the institutional need and strategic goal to showcase the relevance of DePaul's Catholic and Vincentian mission.

What You'll Do:

1. Vincentian Formation Resource Strategy, Creation, and Curation - Facilitate the assessment, creation, adaptation, and curation of relevant and engaging Vincentian Formation resources for students, faculty, staff, and administrators. This may include written materials, videos, podcasts, social media content, multimedia resources, and other formats. This position will also evaluate existing Vincentian resources and adapt them for contemporary audiences and platforms.

2. Partnership and Project Management for Resource Development and Distribution - Collaborate with university partners to develop, produce, and distribute Vincentian Formation resources. This includes managing project timelines, facilitating collaboration, identifying appropriate distribution channels, and ensuring resources are aligned with the goals of Vincentian formation.

3. Student Formation and Coaching - Support student employees and leaders involved in Vincentian Formation resource development. Provide formation, coaching, and professional development in areas such as storytelling, digital communication, content creation, project management, and leadership. Foster students' understanding of the Vincentian mission while supporting their growth as creators, collaborators, and leaders.

Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

* Provide supportive and constructive feedback to students and colleagues for the purposes of achieving high quality.

* Vincentian formation materials, but will not have supervisory responsibilities.

* Bachelors degree, required. (Theology, ministry, education, or communications required).

* 1-3 years professional experience in ministry or educational setting.

* Experience developing multimedia resources, required.

* Excellent written, oral, and digital communication skill, including storytelling.

* Strong collaboration, project management, and relationship-building skills.

* Ability to assess, design and repurpose Vincentian formation digital resources for diverse audiences.

* Ability to translate DePaul's Catholic and Vincentian mission and values into engaging digital content.

* Experience creating pedagogical tools including multimedia resources (videos, podcasts, graphics, presentations, etc.).

* Video recording, editing and production skills highly, preferred.

* Position is primarily remote/hybrid, in-person meetings on campus will be required to build relationships and complete some tasks related to the necessary work (videos, interview and feedback sessions, etc.).

* Expected weekly part-time hours of 15-18 hours will be distributed over a minimum of 3 days during the work week (M-F).

* Some weekend hours may be required.

The anticipated hiring range for this position is: $30 to $40/hr.

The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
