As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Site Tours in Glendale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an educational location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Use your computer or tablet skills to complete reports and support daily operations while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and families by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
