Overview:
We are seeking a corporate Legal Administrative Assistant to work in our corporate and finance, and merger and acquisitions practice groups. We seek an individual with previous transactional LAA experience or someone who has worked at the executive administrative assistant level who is interested in becoming a part of the legal profession.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Document creation and revisions
  • Proofreading and redacting
  • Maintaining electronic case files
  • Project management
  • Calendar maintenance including scheduling internal and external meetings
  • Word Processing
  • Microsoft office work including letter writing etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • High school diploma
  • Knowledge or familiarity with corporate transactional law and/or mergers and acquisitions (3+ years preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships and interest in being part of a team environment
  • Exceptional organizational abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-motivation and a proactive approach
  • Creative thinking ability
  • Effective and efficient task completion
  • Advanced technical skills in Microsoft applications

The estimated starting pay range is $28 - $40/hour. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.
