POSITION: Application Administrator

Position Summary:

Provide Level 2 support for enterprise business applications, resolving escalated issues and ensuring reliable system performance through the Bank's FreshService ticketing platform. Work closely with the Service Desk to deliver timely and accurate resolution of application-related incidents.

Collaborate with business line Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to review vendor release notes, identify relevant enhancements, and coordinate their implementation. Partner with vendors and development teams to understand release schedules and assist in prioritizing fixes and improvements. Review business processes with SMEs to ensure applications are effectively integrated and aligned with operational needs. Support senior team members to build knowledge and ensure coverage across the application stack.

Support the full application lifecycle, including upgrades, patches, and migrations, while maintaining platform compliance and introducing new features. Assist with the implementation of application integrations by coordinating with vendors, internal teams, and business stakeholders to help ensure integrations are properly planned, tested, and aligned with operational needs. Develop relationships with third-party vendors and help maintain upgrade schedules across supported applications.

Key Result Areas:

* Support application lifecycle activities, including upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring changes are properly tested and validated

* Manage and resolve application support tickets through the Bank's ITSM platform, ensuring timely updates and accurate closure

* Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to maintain system stability and performance.

* Coordinate application release schedules with vendors and internal teams; prepare and participate in change management activities

* Collaborate with business stakeholders and SMEs to ensure superior support of the application stack

* Partner with product owners and access management to support role-based access control (RBAC) and standard access definitions.

* Develop and maintain application documentation, including support procedures, Visio diagrams, and upgrade processes

* Coordinate with infrastructure and database teams on system changes, server builds, and configuration updates, ensuring timely and clear communication across the business

* Participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities to build expertise and ensure cross-functional coverage

* Ensure adherence to internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards

* Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:

* 4-year college degree or 4 years of IT experience

* Experience in supporting business applications, preferably in a regulated environment

* Experience with Fiserv DNA and SharePoint preferred

* Minimum 3-years' experience with application support in a Windows Desktop Operating System/ Active Directory environment

* Understanding of PC and Local Area Network technologies required for end-user support in a business environment

* Minimum 1-year experience with Windows Server administration and support

* Ability to work with end users in applying Bank technology to the work environment

* Strong interpersonal & documentation skills

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Location: Hybrid/Waltham, MA Salary Range: $83,500 - $111,300

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Cambridge Savings Bank ranges from $83,500 - $111,300. Cambridge Saving Bank will determine actual compensation for the role based on factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
