As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and assist visitors and staff with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and assist with directing visitors to appropriate public service areas.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and maintain professional communication with site personnel, visitors, and responding agencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
