The Facilities Manager will report to the Plant Manager and serve as the lead for anything facilities related. The role is responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable 24/7 operation of facility equipment, participating in the planning and execution of engineering projects, and maintaining the overall facility buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensure all facility equipment, systems, processes, and infrastructure are in safe working order.
* Ensure the timely completion of equipment, systems, and infrastructure maintenance activities through management of the work order system.
* Oversee the procurement and stocking strategy for all spare parts including critical spare part management.
* Manage the development and execution of facility repair and maintenance as well as capital budget plans.
* Manage 3rd party contractors that support plant operations and facility infrastructure.
* Responsible for the creation and execution of the site process control systems strategy to drive improvements to safety, product quality and process efficiency.
* Directly supervise and provide technical leadership for Engineers, Technicians and Maintenance Mechanics while being responsible for the overall staffing strategy of the department.

Qualifications

WORK EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED
* 8+ years related experience
PREFERRED
* 6+ years of previous leadership experience
* Prior Maintenance leadership experience, with particular emphasis on OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) including core principles of Mechanical Integrity
* Prior project/capital project management

EDUCATION
REQUIRED
* Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related technical discipline AND 8+ years relevant work experience AND 6+ years of previous leadership experience; Master's degree preferred

* Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering AND 8+ years relevant work experience AND 6+ years of previous leadership experience; Master's degree preferred
