Aquent, a premier talent solutions partner, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our client's innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of financial technology, directly impacting the development and enhancement of critical systems that drive our client's front office investment management operations. Your expertise will directly contribute to building robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications that empower investment professionals and deliver significant value to the business.

What You'll Do:



  • Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions for a front office investment management business.
  • Collaborate effectively within an Agile environment, ensuring efficient and timely project delivery with minimal supervision.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of full-stack applications, upholding high standards for quality and performance.
  • Leverage your expertise to enhance critical systems, directly impacting business operations and client success.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality products and services, adhering to established standards and best practices.


Must-Have Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in a full-stack software development role, specifically utilizing C# .NET.
  • Proven experience with service-based development technologies, including micro-services, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as Angular/React, REST, JSON, HTML, and CSS.
  • Strong database development skills using Relational Databases (e.g., MS SQL, Oracle).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications:



  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders, including technical and business teams, peers, and leaders.
  • Experience and knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms such as Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and learn new technologies.
  • A strong customer focus, coupled with a sense of ownership and determination to drive solutions in a collaborative environment.


Please note: This position is available on a W-2 employment basis only and is not open to Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements. The client is also unable to provide employment-based visa sponsorship or transfers for this role.
