Job Title: Senior Desktop Support Tech 2

Location(s): Richmond, VA

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Senior Desktop Support Technician to provide enterprise desktop support, hardware and software troubleshooting, workstation deployments, and end-user technical assistance. The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft desktop support experience, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and outstanding customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide desktop and laptop support for end users.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows workstations.
  • Perform laptop refresh, deployment, and replacement activities.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, BIOS, drivers, and peripheral issues.
  • Provide remote support using enterprise management tools.
  • Configure and support Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve desktop, network connectivity, and application issues.
  • Install software updates and maintain system configurations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure reliable desktop operations.
  • Learn and support new technologies as required.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience supporting Microsoft Windows 11 or later.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware, peripherals, and networking.
  • Experience performing laptop refresh and workstation deployments.
  • Hands-on experience with SCCM/SMS.
  • Experience using remote support tools such as SCCM, Remote Desktop, and Dameware.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, drivers, BIOS, and software installation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and teamwork abilities.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Interview Process:

  • Initial virtual/web interview.
  • Final in-person interview (required before an offer can be made).

Additional Information:

  • 100% onsite position from Day 1.
  • Parking is not provided for contractors.
