Your Role in Our Mission

  • Job Purpose: To create all neoprene-based products by stripping, poking, sorting, washing, pre-dipping, and inspecting according to quality cleanliness standards.

  • Maintains efficiency of dipping operations by: Switching out mandrels during a rotational mandrel chance and placing them in proper storage area; performing duties of leach line operator; assisting with the draining, cleaning, and filling of tanks when necessary.

  • Maintains quality standards of product by: Checking mandrels and racks for foreign material, water, and pieces or rubber at various points during dipping operations; scraping off dried pre-dip runs on the back of the mandrels; removing miscellaneous junk from production line; operating high-pressure washer to ensure mandrels are free from excess rubber and residue.

  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by: Operating all machinery in a safe and efficient manner; reporting any safety hazards to assigned supervisor or safety manager; complying with all safety and quality policies, practices and procedures; assuring compliance with all regulatory requirements including workplace safety, OSHA, etc. Wears steel toed shoes and hearing protection in the proper places. Makes sure trash cans are taken out, floors are clean, and general housekeeping.

  • Maintain quality service by: Keeping error rates minimal and within acceptable ranges; maintaining an efficient work pace; meeting and exceeding all performance measurements: quantity, accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of work performed.

  • Contributes to team effort by: Maintaining a good attendance record; accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Highlight cross-functional collaboration and ownership.

  • Emphasize continuous improvement and efficiency.

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

  • Must be skill checked on 1 position within the assigned department within 30 days of hire.

  • Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • The ability to work as part of a team.

  • Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with the fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset.

Pay Transparency

The expected pay range for this role is $18.00 - $18.50 per hour + $1.50 shift differential. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
