Job Purpose:

The Business Intelligence Analyst supports the Finance, Accounting & Reporting team by delivering data-driven insights that improve financial performance and business results. Reporting to the SVP, Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, this role partners with Line of Business leaders, Profitability, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop meaningful reporting, dashboards, and analytics that support strategic decision-making.

The analyst will be responsible for developing Tableau dashboards, analyzing business performance trends, identifying opportunities for revenue growth and operational improvement, and providing ad hoc financial and operational analysis. This position is ideal for an analytically minded professional with strong technical skills and a passion for translating data into actionable business insights.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualizations to support Line of Business performance reporting.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging risks.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Assist in creating monthly and quarterly Line of Business performance packages.
  • Analyze customer growth, retention, and acquisition trends.
  • Develop reporting around: revenue per customer, cross-sell effectiveness, customer profitability and segmentation.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and increase value.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to evaluate Salesforce campaign effectiveness.
  • Measure campaign performance, conversion rates, and return on investment.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales and marketing outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Profitability team to identify and track key financial drivers.
  • Incorporate profitability metrics into regular Line of Business reporting.
  • Support analysis related to revenue growth, expense management, and financial performance improvement initiatives.
  • Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and management requests.
  • Gather, organize, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Present findings through reports, dashboards, and executive-ready summaries.
  • Will perform special projects as assigned.

Education, Job Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics or related field.
  • Up to 2 years relevant experience in finance, analytics or banking.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables and data analysis.
  • Working knowledge of SQL preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial statements and business performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Team player.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics or related field.
  • Up to 2 years relevant experience in finance, analytics or banking.
