Role:

To assist Commercial Relationship Managers with customer loan requests, providing clerical and administrative support needed to process and close customer loans.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

E 70% Processes approved loans and sets up date and time to close the loan and make disbursements.

E 10% Communicates with service providers such as appraisers and attorneys to obtain services or documents needed for loan closing.

E 5% Prepares and submits documents for perfecting security interests.

E 5% Prepares loan files, ensuring that all required documents are obtained and filled out correctly and completely.

E 5% Identifies and takes action to improve operating methods and procedures.

N 5% Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:

1. To comply with the letter and with the spirit of the bank's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

2. To maintain the confidentiality of customer and any other sensitive information.

3. To be punctual and have regular attendance.

4. To produce loan documents, reports, and new accounts in a timely fashion, with zero unresolved errors.

5. To close, organize, and complete customer loan files.

6. To acquire and maintain a working knowledge of regulations and bank procedures; to comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and other laws and regulations.

7. To maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.

8. To complete required training and undertake additional training as needed to increase job knowledge and maximize productivity.

9. To develop and maintain a positive and productive working relationship with department/branch staff.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience One year to three years of similar or related experience.

Education A high school education or GED.

Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Other Skills Must have good communication skills. Ten key calculator, typewriter and keyboard skills

Physical Requirements The person in this position needs to frequently move about inside the office to interact with associates and access office machinery and file cabinets. The person in the position constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, photocopier, and printer.

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as calculators, computers, phones, photocopier, filing cabinets and fax machines.
