| Position Purpose |
The Program Manager, Makerspace is responsible for the planning, development, coordination, and assessment of educational programming and engagement activities within the Cable Makerspace. This position fosters innovation, experiential learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration through workshops, events, mentorship opportunities, and curricular partnerships. The Program Manager works with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners to maximize participation and educational impact.

- Bachelor's degree plus 2-3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience developing and delivering educational programs, workshops, or events.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of makerspace environments, innovation programs, engineering education, or experiential learning initiatives.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and welcoming community.

- Experience working in a higher education makerspace, innovation center, entrepreneurship program, or similar environment.
- Experience supporting project-based learning or experiential education.
- Experience supervising student employees, interns, or volunteers.
- Familiarity with prototyping, fabrication, design thinking, or maker technologies.
