A reasonable estimated salary range for the Assistant Professor position is $208,000 - $223,000 inclusive of the salary scale and off-scale salary components. "Off-scale salaries" and other components of pay, i.e., a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions.

Position description

The UC Irvine Paul Merage School of Business is seeking candidates to fill one tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Strategy & Entrepreneurship area to begin as early as July 1, 2027.


QUALIFICATIONS

We are seeking individuals with a commitment to excellence in research and teaching in Strategy & Entrepreneurship. A Ph.D. in management or other relevant discipline is required (Ph.D. must be completed by September 2027). We especially encourage applications from those who can contribute to our strategy of leadership in the digital age and to inclusive excellence.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic business school located in the heart of Southern California's thriving business community. Merage School faculty are recognized globally for their research contributions and teaching innovation in strategy, entrepreneurship, management, and organization theory, and the School consistently ranks among the top 10 percent of AACSB-accredited business schools worldwide.
