Actualmente buscamos personal de mano de obra general para los siguientes departamentos:

Departamento De Bolis

1er Turno: 7:00 am-3:00 pm

2do Turno: 3:00 pm-11:00 pm

Departamento de Polvos

2do Turno: 2:00 pm-10:00 pm

3er Turno: 10:00 pm-6:00 am

Los puestos pueden estar ubicados en:

501 Conde Street, West Chicago, o en 444 Charles Court, West Chicago.

OBJETIVO PRINCIPAL DEL PUESTO

Realizar tareas generales de produccion que se consideren necesarias y sean solicitadas por el supervisor, gerente o lider del equipo. Esto no incluye la operacion de maquinaria.

Este puesto requiere que el empleado realice horas extras segun sea necesario. Dichas horas se programan en funcion de las responsabilidades individuales del puesto y de las necesidades del departamento.

RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES

• Debe cumplir con los procedimientos de seguridad de Jel Sert, los requisitos de las Buenas Practicas de Fabricacion (GMP) y las instrucciones de trabajo.
• Realizar diversas tareas segun se solicite durante el turno.
• Seguir las instrucciones del supervisor, gerente o lider.
• Aprender rapidamente nuevas funciones y tareas.
• Identificar problemas de seguridad y calidad.
• Mantener el area o las areas de trabajo limpias y libres de riesgos de seguridad.
• Realizar otras labores segun sea necesario.

RESPONSABILIDADES DE SEGURIDAD Y CALIDAD ALIMENTARIA:

Siga los procedimientos e instrucciones de trabajo aplicables y supervise los puntos de control de calidad (PCC).

CONOCIMIENTOS, HABILIDADES Y CAPACIDADES

• Buenas habilidades motrices y coordinacion ojo-mano.
• Disposicion para realizar diversas tareas a lo largo del turno.
• Capacidad para identificar problemas de calidad y seguir instrucciones.
• Conocimientos basicos de las Buenas Practicas de Fabricacion (GMP) y de las normas de seguridad de Jel Sert.
• No se requiere experiencia previa.

CONDICIONES DE TRABAJO

• Entorno de ritmo acelerado en los sectores de fabricacion y distribucion.
• Se requiere capacidad de movimiento completo (estirarse y levantar objetos), incluyendo levantar hasta 50 libras (aprox. 23 kg).
• Permanecer de pie durante toda la jornada laboral (8 horas o mas).
• Trabajo continuo.
• Posible exposicion a diversos olores y polvo.
• Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente.
• Se requieren horas extras obligatorias durante la semana y/o los fines de semana, segun sea necesario.

We are currently looking for General Labor for the following departments:

Freezer Bar

1st shift: 7:00 am-3:00 pm

2nd shift: 3:00 pm-11:00 pm

Powder Department

2nd shift: 2:00 pm-10:00 pm

3rd shift: 10:00 pm-6:00 am

Positions may be located at either:

501 Conde Street, West Chicago or 444 Charles Court, West Chicago.

BASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION

To perform general production operation duties deemed necessary and requested by the supervisor, manager, or lead. This does not include machine operation.

This position will require the employee to work overtime as needed. Overtime is scheduled based upon individual job responsibilities and the needs of the department.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Must follow Jel Sert safety procedures, GMP requirements, and work instructions.
• Perform different tasks as requested throughout the shift.
• Follow supervisor/manager/lead instructions.
• Learn new duties and tasks quickly.
• Identify safety and quality problems.
• Keep work area(s) clean and free of safety hazards.
• Perform other work as required.

FOOD SAFETY/QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow applicable work procedures and instructions and monitor quality control points (QCP's).

Backup Redundant

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Good motor skills and hand/eye coordination.
• Willingness to perform different tasks throughout a shift.
• Ability to identify quality problems and follow instructions.
• Basic knowledge of GMP's and Jel Sert safety practices.
• No previous experience required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Manufacturing/Distribution and a fast-paced environment.
• A full range of motion is required (reaching and lifting), lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Standing for the duration of a shift (8 or more hours).
• Continuous work.
• Possible exposure to various odors and powder dust.
• Work independently.
• Mandatory overtime during the week and/or weekend is required as necessary.
