What to Expect
We are looking for a highly motivated application support engineer to joinourteam. You will join a small, expert team that supportstroubleshooting production issues, analyzing logs and coordinating with Development, QA. The ideal candidate will have a good balance of building relationships with users, solving technical problems and knowledge of enterprise level systems. Our team runs 24x7 and service facilities we support, and you will beworking from Monday to Friday.
What You'll Do
- Work directly with software developers and users on the production floor to understand issues and provide solutions in real-time
- Work through tickets received from Factory Software users across all North American factories and warehouses
- Create workarounds for issues that require immediate solutions if a permanent one is not immediately available
- Monitor Application Health and Performance and Analyze logs to identify root causes
- Track and update incidents using tools like Jira
- Meet the SLAs for incident response and resolution
- Monitor applications using Grafana, Splunk and AppDynamics
- Work closely with QA, business and development teams
- Communicate issues, resolutions to stakeholders and participate in sprint planning
- Document troubleshooting steps, SOPs, Known issues and knowledge base articles in the confluence
What You'll Bring
- Degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience
- Basic programming and scripting skills (e.g., SQL, Python, Splunk, Postman)
- Write simple scripts (Python, SQL) to automate repetitive tasks
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, customer- focused environment.
- Document recurring issues and recommend preventive actions
- Participate in production releases if required
- Support rollback activities if deployment issue occurs
- Diagnose application failures and perform root cause analysis
- Perform minor code fixes and debug application errors using Error logs
- Run SQL queries for data verification and issue analysis

Expected Compensation
$112,000 - $168,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
