Campus Facilities is seeking a highly motivated, solution-oriented individual for the position of Business Support Specialist II. This position will provide a broad range of essential business and office support for the Campus Facilities Department.

Duties and responsibilities associated with this position include:
* Assist in reviewing, collecting, and verifying data and create reports.
* Provide support to others with financial duties such as One Card transactions, Expense Reports, billing, purchasing, budgeting, and other functions within the department. Maintain a working knowledge of departmental budgets.
* Perform office and administrative support for the department, prepare communications, make travel arrangements, set up training classes, and make phone calls.
* Provide outstanding, professional customer service, to include operating departmental software program, enter work orders, answer a high volume of phone calls, create, and run reports.
* Have the ability to answer questions from service technicians and provide assistance with tablets and phones.
* Must have the ability to work within a CMMS database and utilize Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
* Effectively navigate stressful client encounters and situations while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
* Manage multiple priorities and operate in a fast-paced environment with defined time frames.
* Support the coordination and scheduling of staff for standby and volunteer assignments.
* Perform the duties as a representative of the Customer Service Department, taking phone calls from students and staff, entering work orders and dispatching technicians as situations arise. These duties will include the review of work orders and performing close out procedures for billing.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday; Occasional night and weekend work may be required

An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong working knowledge of Excel.

A valid driver's license which will allow the legal operation of a motor vehicle in the State of Missouri is required.

Salary Range: $18.50 - $23.00 per hour
