Idaho National Laboratory seeks Program Managers to spearhead high-impact, strategic programs at the forefront of nuclear innovation, shaping solutions that strengthen national energy security, scientific advancement, and critical infrastructure while driving transformative projects that push boundaries in nuclear technology. You'll oversee multiple ongoing, rapidly expanding projects potentially managed by subordinate project managers, track project deliverables using appropriate tools, ensure proper planning and scheduling for operational-related activities to support timely completion of program work, and implement and manage project changes to achieve successful outputs. Your responsibilities include proactively managing and executing sets of projects into programs on schedule and within budgets, directing or supporting engineering projects related to upgrading facilities and constructing new facilities, aiding in developing research and engineering teams to help partners meet goals, interfacing with partners including DOE and DOD to coordinate among laboratory operations, preparing progress and special reports to customers and management, ensuring laboratory requirements and standards are met, maintaining customer contact and work relationships, identifying new opportunities and supporting growth, and developing teams to successfully complete projects. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this classification, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, and work in an office and field/laboratory environment. The job requires hand/finger dexterity to keyboard or type, handle materials, manipulate tools, and reach with hands and arms. The job requires operation of job-related equipment and driving a vehicle. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds without assistance. Sufficient visual acuity and hearing capacity to perform the essential functions and interact with the public is required. Job Information: Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Program Manager to work on our Nuclear Nonproliferation Division and the "Material Minimization, Security and International Safeguards team. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off.
