In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of twenty in vital work to configure and implement Epic modules that are foundation-focused, functional, efficient, and user-centric. Working with various service lines of the healthcare system, you will manage the work of both full time staff and external resources to meet the needs of clinical users. This role collaborates closely with managers of Epic and non-Epic application teams to ensure seamless support across a complex healthcare system.
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate a strong clinical background and leadership in an academic healthcare environment. This role requires an in person presence in our area, with on-site collaboration and leadership expected. Represents people leaders (hire/fire authority) with majority of time spent overseeing their area of responsibility. Achieve goals through direct and/or indirect reports. Manages/Supervises professional level employees within a Job Area. Focuses on tactical and operational plans and strategy with short to mid-term focus. Develops solutions to moderately complex problems, and may escalate more complex issues to higher level management. Ensures that staff is utilized efficiently and daily work projects are completed on time and within budget. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's degree required. Experience: 5+ relevant professional experience, to include 2+ years of formal management experience required. Licensure: None. PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. The pay range for this role is $115,793.60 - $218,293.00 annually.
