In this role, you will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, verify access, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control access for authorized individuals, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor activity according to site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns, unusual activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, observing for security-related issues, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have 2+ years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
