Summary The ARC Senior Genomics Data Engineer is responsible for full performance complex system analysis, design in both data transformation and data analysis. This critical role involves developing, testing, promoting, supporting, and maintaining infrastructure and systems for data generation, storage, and movement and providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis products, producing reports and dashboards that offer actionable insights to decision-makers. Also supports advanced analytics in the organization by integrating enhanced technologies such as GenAI, LLMs, RAG architecture, and Cloud Computing technologies to deliver data processes and solutions. As an ARC Senior Genomics Data Engineer at Children's Hospital Colorado, you will be a key member of the Bioinformatics Team part of the Centre for Innovative Genomics. The center includes our nationally and internationally known clinical laboratory, Precision Diagnostics Laboratory, as well as the focused efforts of our genomics research mission. The Bioinformatics team plays a pivotal role in Children's Colorado efforts to provide a best-in-class clinico-genomics dataset and infrastructure needed for internal and external partners to gain deeper biological insights and operational awarenesses. Our patients are at the center of our mission thus the clinico-genomic solution must ensure biological and operational insights are brought back to our pediatric focused health systems. Working closely with Innovation, Technical Operations, Genomics Research, IT teams, you will be responsible for both clinical and research use only dataset structures as well as developing various programmatic interfaces to facilitate easy access to enable empowered clinico-genomic scientific discoveries. As a senior member of the team, you may perform lead work over low and medium complexity cross-functional efforts. Shift Center for Innovative Genomics Day shift, typically from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Weekend and holiday work may be required. Hybrid eligible. Duties & Responsibilities
