Description * Designs and oversees the layout, visual appearance, and overall aesthetic of website and web pages * Ensures the website is easy to navigate and provides a positive user experience * Maintains alignment with brand guidelines and ensures consistency in design elements * Works with developers to implement designs and ensure functionality across devices and browsers * Conducts usability testing and makes data-driven improvements to website performance * Establishes and maintains design guidelines, standards, and best practices * Prepares design assets such as icons, images, and fonts for web development * Stays current with web design trends and technologies, recommending ongoing improvements * Collaborates with internal teams to ensure efficient implementation of web content across appropriate channels * Effectively communicates design ideas and partners cross-functionally * Conducts routine website audits to ensure content remains accurate and up to date * Develops and maintains reports to assess website engagement and performance * Supports leadership with special projects as needed * Ensures compliance with applicable state and regulatory website standards * Other duties as assigned Key Responsibilities * Manage and fulfill website content requests from ~20+ internal departments * Create, edit, and publish web content aligned with communication standards * Coordinate with external partners on site development and updates * Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during site development and updates * Maintain website content to ensure: * Accuracy * Regulatory compliance * Timeliness of updates * Manage workflows and meet strict content deadlines Skills * Content management * Content strategy * Web content Top Skills Details * Content management * Content strategy * Web content Additional Skills & Qualifications Required * 4-5+ years of experience in: * Web content creation and management * Website administration or hosting platforms * Strong writing and communication skills * Experience managing content intake requests and workflows * Familiarity with: * Web hosting and domain environments * Content publishing processes * UAT testing experience (focused on functional/content validation) * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Nice-to-Have * Basic understanding of UX/UI principles (content-focused) * Experience supporting website builds or redesigns Experience Level * Intermediate level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fairfield, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
