Description & Requirements
The Regional Marketing Associate plays a critical role in supporting the execution of a high volume of events across the Charlotte practice unit and broader Southeast region. This position is responsible for driving consistency, efficiency, and scalability in event planning and coordination, helping the regional marketing team achieve economies of scale while maintaining a high standard of quality and brand execution.
This role functions as a central coordinator for external conferences, sponsorships, firm-hosted events, and select virtual programs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with strong project management and communication skills. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, execute within defined processes, and continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency and impact.
What You Will Do:
  • Coordinate and execute logistics for a high volume of regional events, including conferences, sponsorships, association events, and firm-hosted programs
  • Manage event workflows including registration, vendor coordination, material preparation, shipping, and on-site logistics
  • Partner with marketing and business development teams to align event participation with strategic priorities
  • Support both in-person and virtual events
  • Identify opportunities to standardize processes and improve scalability
  • Follow firm Event Management SOPs to ensure consistent execution
  • Maintain documentation including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and correspondence
  • Contribute to process improvements and templates
  • Track event participation and engagement
  • Maintain records supporting ROI measurement
  • Coordinate follow-up and accountability
  • Communicate with stakeholders, vendors, and partners
  • Provide updates on timelines and deliverables
  • Coordinate attendee participation and objectives
  • Support event promotion across channels
  • Ensure adherence to CPE compliance requirements
  • Provide on-site event support as needed
  • Assist with additional marketing initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 2-4+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
