As a Cleaning & Repair Supervisor, you will oversee daily barge cleaning and repair operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. What You Will Be Doing - Your IMPACT




  • Supervise and coordinate daily barge cleaning and repair operations for the assigned fleet location.



  • Lead and manage cleaning and repair teams, including oversight of outside contractors.



  • Plan and schedule cleaning and repair activities to support operational needs.



  • Create work orders and assign tasks to ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion.



  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality and safety standards.



  • Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding barge availability and operational timelines.



  • Plan and coordinate facility upgrades and repairs to maintain compliance with company and regulatory requirements.



  • Support the facility budget and monitor expenses to ensure alignment with financial expectations.



  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support fleet operations.




Job Qualifications - What You Bring to the ACBL Team




  • High School Diploma or GED required.



  • 5+ years of cleaning and repair experience in a shipyard or similar industrial environment preferred.



  • Strong leadership and teammanagement skills.



  • Ability to plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance activities.



  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulatory requirements.



  • Must have for a TWIC.



  • Valid driver's license required.



  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and adapt to operational demands.
