Position Summary: Responsible for the overall operational performance of the airline fleet and management of the department's Operations Controllers. The Global Operations Manager specifically assists in the coordination and oversight of all aircraft movements within the Atlas network via communications with all customers, network groups and stations. Major Job Accountabilities: Main EOC contact for all operations. Coordinate with EOC network support staff to ensure all parties have the latest info related to operations. Communicate operational customer information/changes to all affected stations, vendors and affected employees. Monitor all flight activity including the research and coding of flight delays. Create Global Operational reports for all flights as required. Maintain AIMS operating system database with all aircraft dispositions. Process customers' operational requests (i.e. schedule changes, etc.). Review customer validation reports for operational data and adjust the operating system as necessary. Monitor all flight activity including the research and coding of flight delays. Create and coordinate recovery plans for Atlas/Polar aircraft disruptions. Administrative responsibility for EOC Ops Controllers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. 3-5 years of prior airline operations experience required. Prior operations experience highly desirable. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Comfortable and demonstrate making key decisions. Strong computer proficiency. Perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility with schedule to include working nights, weekends and holidays.
